About Diane

Diane Rice began her Journalism career in newspapers in 2001 after studying graphic design and photography at Long Island University, and has worked on the design staffs at Spa, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, Parenting, Caribbean Travel + Life, and Florida Travel + Life magazines. In her current role as photography director for Washingtonian she is responsible for the production, direction and editing of images for the flagship magazine, as well as its many ancillary publications. She has been a judge and portfolio reviewer for NYPA (New York Press Association), PDN, Rangefinder, American Photo and the Woman Photojournalists of Washington.
