DESCRIPTION:Print theme: Open \nJudge: John Borstel \nPresentation title: Are You a Hunter or a Farmer?: Creative Process and Photography \nBio: \nJohn Borstel is a maker\, writer\, and facilitator of experiences in critique and learning whose award-winning work combines elements of photography\, performance\, and text. Currently a faculty associate of Arizona State University\, he collaborates with MacArthur “Genius Grant” awardee Liz Lerman on online education projects focused on creative process and generative critique. He has served on the board and taught on the faculty of Glen Echo Photoworks and is the co-founder of that organization’s annual Photo Slam.
