DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, September 22\, 18:15 PM\, IPS is honored to host Thomas Petzwinkler for a presentation of his accomplishments and body of work\, followed by our monthly virtual photo competition (Theme: People). The competition follows our EIC guidelines – please refer to http://www.imfwb-ips.org/eic-guidelines/ if you would like additional details. \nTom is an art educator and Landscape\, Travel\, and Nature Photographer based in Washington DC.  Tom spend the past 25 years teaching\, traveling\, and exhibiting around the world and is currently holding photography workshops in and around the DMV.  His background in Art History\, as well as Sculpture\, Filmmaking and Documentary Photography inform his work in ways that are both cinematic and intimately personal\, combining different disciplines and thought streams that are unique\, yet sometimes derivative\, but always an expression of his own inner voice and signature style. \nhttp://www.tompetzphotography.com/ \n
